Our workshop provided a comprehensive overview of the EU AI Act, delving into its origins, enforcement mechanisms, and associated penalties. We explored the compliance requirements for high-risk AI systems, discussed implementation guidance, and examined AI conformity assessments. Additionally, we addressed the ethical impact assessments essential for responsible AI deployment, equipping participants with a thorough understanding of these crucial regulatory aspects.
